Using the popular African Flower motif technique, students will learn how to create colorful hexagon and pentagon shapes that come together to form a charming stuffed bird full of personality. Julie will guide students through motif construction, joining techniques, shaping, assembly, and finishing details. This project is perfect for adventurous beginners with basic crochet knowledge as well as experienced crocheters looking for a fun new project. Students will leave with a unique handmade bird stuffy and the skills to continue creating African Flower projects at home. Students should bring: • Crochet hook appropriate for yarn choice.
