Guided by artist Elizabeth Butterfield, you’ll learn step-by-step how to bring this quirky, character-filled bird to life on canvas. Elizabeth will walk you through the entire process—from sketching your composition to layering paint, blending colors, and adding those final details that give your emu personality and charm. Her relaxed, encouraging teaching style makes this class perfect for beginners, while still offering plenty of inspiration for more experienced painters. Whether you follow the sample or add your own creative twist, you’ll leave with a finished painting that’s full of personality and ready to display. Refund Policy for SewCal Craft Studio At SewCal Craft Studio, we strive to provide a fair and transparent refund policy for all our offerings. Classes and Space Rentals For both classes and space rentals, the following refund policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation request: Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled date: Full refund (100%) Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made day-of will have no refund Please note that cancellations must be made in writing via email to jaimee@sewcalcraftsudio.com to be eligible for a refund.
