In this fun and creative two-part workshop, you’ll learn how to crochet and assemble an adorable chicken using granny square techniques. Part 1: Julie will guide you step-by-step through creating beautiful, even granny squares while refining your crochet skills. You’ll learn tips for color changes, shaping, and tension to set your project up for success. Part 2: Bring your chicken to life! In this session, you’ll assemble your squares, add dimension, and finish with personality details like the comb, beak, and embellishments. Perfect for confident beginners and beyond, this class is a great way to build skills while making a unique handmade piece—perfect for seasonal décor or gifting. Skills You’ll Learn: Granny square construction Color changes & stitch consistency Basic shaping and assembly Finishing techniques and embellishments What to Bring: Worsted weight yarn (various colors) Crochet hook (size recommended by instructor) Yarn needle & scissors Come stitch, laugh, and create something truly delightful with Julie!
