Kit Fee is $150- SIGN UP FOR BOTH CLASS DAYS INDIVIDUALLY! Create your own charming collectible hedgehog in this two-session Teddy Bear Necessities class with Jaimee. Working with beautiful mohair fabric, you’ll learn traditional teddy bear–making techniques while bringing 15" Hayley the Hedgehog to life from start to finish. Note: Sign up for each class! 1st class is sewing and 2nd class is assembling. Both are full day classes and each cost $55. Class 1: Cutting & Sewing Begin by learning how to properly lay out and cut mohair for minimal waste and best pile direction. Jaimee will guide you through machine and hand-sewing techniques designed specifically for bear making as you stitch Hayley’s body pieces together with confidence. Class 2: Assembly & Finishing In the second session, you’ll assemble your hedgehog using professional bear-making methods. Learn stuffing techniques, jointing basics, shaping, and finishing details that give Hayley personality and heirloom quality. Perfect for: intermediate sewists, teddy bear lovers, and anyone wanting to learn specialty soft-sculpture techniques Skills covered: working with mohair, pile direction cutting, teddy bear sewing methods, stuffing and shaping, assembly and finishing Leave with an adorable handmade hedgehog and the foundational skills to continue your teddy bear–making journey.
