Into to Rug Punch
Service Description
Kit fee is $25 cash to Pam day of class and includes yarn, fabric and rug punch needle. Students will need a no slip 14" embroidery hoop. Morgan hoop is preferred. The studio has limited number for sale and Pam only has 2 for borrowing. Call Jaimee if you need assistance finding a proper hoop or supplies. Create a beautiful and functional handmade hot pad using the relaxing technique of rug punch! In this beginner-friendly class, Pam will guide you step-by-step through the basics of punch needle rug hooking while you craft a textured hot pad perfect for your kitchen or as a thoughtful gift. You’ll learn: How to set up your frame and foundation fabric Proper punch needle techniques for even loops and texture Color placement and simple design tips Finishing methods to turn your piece into a durable heat-resistant hot pad By the end of class, you’ll leave with a completed (or nearly completed) hot pad and the skills to continue punch needle projects at home.

Classes and Space Rentals For both classes and space rentals, the following refund policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation request: Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled date: Full refund (100%) Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made day-of will have no refund Please note that cancellations must be made in writing via email to jaimee@sewcalcraftsudio.com to be eligible for a refund.
