Service Description
Kit Fee is $20 cash due to Pam day of class Discover the beauty of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese stitching technique known for its simple, rhythmic patterns and striking geometric designs. In this beginner-friendly class, Pam will guide you through the fundamentals of Sashiko as you create your own stitched project while learning the history and purpose behind this timeless craft. Students will learn essential techniques including transferring patterns, proper stitch length, thread handling, and developing smooth, even stitching for that classic Sashiko look. Pam will also share tips for incorporating Sashiko into mending, decorative stitching, and modern textile projects. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished stitched piece and the confidence to continue exploring Sashiko at home. Classes and Space Rentals For both classes and space rentals, the following refund policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation request: Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled date: Full refund (100%) Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made day-of will have no refund Please note that cancellations must be made in writing via email to jaimee@sewcalcraftsudio.com to be eligible for a refund.
