Service Description
Kit fee is $20 CASH due to Elizabeth in class Turn forgotten treasures into a one-of-a-kind keepsake box in this creative mixed media workshop. Using vintage and costume jewelry, beads, buttons, charms, and other found objects, students will transform a simple box into a richly embellished piece of functional art. Elizabeth will guide students through composition, layering, and adhesion techniques while encouraging playful experimentation and personal expression. You’ll learn how to balance color, texture, and dimension as you arrange and attach your “junk jewelry” into a beautifully cohesive design. No two boxes will be alike, and the process is just as joyful as the finished piece. This class is perfect for anyone who loves mixed media, collage, assemblage art, or giving new life to old treasures. Bring a small stash of sentimental or interesting jewelry if you have it—or use a selection provided in class.
