Let your child unwind after school while learning a fun and creative skill! In this weekly sewing class, Ross Anna will guide kids through the basics of sewing while they create fun projects they’ll be proud to take home. Students will learn both hand sewing and sewing machine techniques while building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Each week we’ll work on beginner-friendly projects such as small accessories, plushies, simple garments, and creative fabric crafts. Rossanna creates a supportive and encouraging environment where kids can learn at their own pace while developing real sewing skills that last a lifetime. ✨ Skills kids will learn: Sewing machine basics Hand sewing techniques Cutting and working with fabric Simple pattern reading Finishing projects neatly Perfect for beginners as well as kids who want to keep improving their sewing skills. Projects will change regularly so students can keep learning and creating each week. Great for creative kids who love making things with their hands! Suggested Sewing Supplies: Tape measure Pair of good, sharp fabric scissors Gutermann thread (Dritz) white glass-headed pins (you can't iron on top of the plastic heads) Magnetic pin cushion New seam ripper (if it's too old it won't work well) Seam gauge Marking device (chalk or fabric marker) Universal sewing machine needle size 12 1 yard of cotton fabric for pillowcase or practice
