Service Description
Always wanted to make a hat but didn’t know where to start? This two-day beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to knitting or crochet in the round. With Julie’s clear instruction and encouraging teaching style, students will learn the essential skills needed to create their very first wearable hat from start to finish. Over the course of two days, you’ll learn how to cast on, work basic stitches, read a simple pattern, shape the crown, and finish your hat with confidence. Whether you choose to knit or crochet, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance, tips for fixing common mistakes, and plenty of hands-on help along the way. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed (or nearly completed!) hat and the skills needed to continue making hats on your own. Supply List Knitters: Yarn weight- Bulky or chunky (5) Needle size- US 10-6.0 mm 12-16 inch circular & DPNs (Double point needles)

Classes and Space Rentals For both classes and space rentals, the following refund policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation request: Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled date: Full refund (100%) Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made day-of will have no refund Please note that cancellations must be made in writing via email to jaimee@sewcalcraftsudio.com to be eligible for a refund.
