Using a simple mold to start, Kathy will guide you step by step in sculpting the form and then adding expression and personality to your little creature. His body will be created with needle-felted wool roving, making this a perfect project for beginners who want to learn the basics of felting. By the end of class, you’ll have your very own spooky-cute bat—ready to join in the Halloween celebrations! Kit Fee: $20 CASH to Kathy day of class Includes: clay, black wool roving, wire, eyes, felt, and a block stand. Supplies: Sculpting tools and needle felting needles NEEDLES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE STUDIO No experience necessary—just come ready to stab some wool and have fun!
