Posy Rabbit — an Heirloom Felt Bunny
Service Description
Kit Fee- $20 Includes felt, eyes, joints, pattern and thread. Meet Posy, a timeless little rabbit you’ll sew from beautiful wool-blend felt and bring to life with button eyes, an embroidered nose, and fully jointed, posable limbs. In this hands-on workshop, students will create a keepsake-quality bunny using machine-sewing and traditional soft-toy techniques. During class, you’ll transfer the Posy Rabbit pattern to freezer paper, cut out your pieces, sew and turn your bunny, and assemble it using jointing so Posy can sit, stand, and be posed. You’ll finish by stitching the sweet embroidered nose and adding the button eyes that give Posy her classic, storybook charm. This class is perfect for confident beginners and experienced sewists alike who love creating beautiful handmade toys with lasting appeal. What to bring: A sewing machine if you have one (a limited number will be available to share) Fabric for Posy’s inner ears or accents (Liberty fabrics will be available for purchase in the studio), scissors, embroidery needle, pins, freezer paper, stuffing, tools for joints if you have them. If not they will be available to borrow in studio.
