CLASS FEE & REGISTRATION Single Class: $75 A $20 registration fee is paid online when booking, with the remaining $55 due in cash on the day of class paid to Sally SEWING MACHINE RENTAL Need to use one of our sewing machines? No problem! Sewing machine rentals can be added to your registration. • Single Class Rental: $10 per class Please select the sewing machine rental add-on when registering if you will need a machine. ⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING AN EVENING CLASS Students attending evening classes MUST be able to use the stairs to access the studio. Elevator service in our building is not guaranteed during evening hours, so please do not plan on the elevator being available when arriving or leaving class. If you are unable to walk up and down the stairs, please do not book an evening class. Contact us instead, and we’ll be happy to help you find a daytime class that better accommodates your needs. We are happy to help carry your sewing machine up or down if you need assistance. Whether you’re brand new to sewing or ready to build your skills, Sewing with Sally is a fun, relaxed class designed to help you become more confident at your sewing machine while learning at your own pace. Beginners are welcome! New sewers will start by making an 18" envelope-back pillow cover, learning essential skills like measuring, cutting, pinning, seam allowances, and basic construction. Once the pillow is complete, students will move on to pajama pants, where Sally will introduce additional skills such as working with a pattern and sewing elastic. From there, Sally will help each student progress to projects suited to their skill level, building toward techniques like zippers, buttonholes, elastic, pattern reading, and more. For your Envelope-Back Pillow, bring: 1½ yards of 44"-wide woven fabric Coordinating thread 18" pillow form Scissors Pins Measuring tape Seam ripper Tailor’s chalk or Frixion pen Please bring a sewing machine in good working order.
