Service Description
Channel classic 1950s charm while you sew a flattering, halter-style vintage apron with a circle skirt. Sally will guide you step-by-step through reading the pattern, cutting, construction, clean finishes, and optional ruffles and trims. Leave with a beautiful apron and skills you can reuse for gifts and seasonal versions. Skill Level Confident beginner and up (comfortable threading/operating a sewing machine and sewing a consistent seam). What You’ll Learn Pattern layout & cutting for a circle skirt apron Bodice assembly, halter straps, waistband & ties Pockets and optional small over-apron Trim and ruffle application tips Good to Know Making your own ruffles requires extra fabric and time. We recommend purchasing pre-made ruffle trim (see yardage below). If you plan to self-ruffle, check with us for ruffle yields. Supply List (Bring to Class) Tools Sewing machine in good working order Scissors Pins Seam ripper Tailor’s chalk or heat-erasable pen Fabric & Lining (Small over-apron is optional) Main Fabric: 1 yard — bodice + circle skirt Contrast 1: ¾ yard — bodice trim, halter straps, waistband & ties Contrast 2: ½ yard — small over-apron (optional) Muslin/Lining: ½ yard — pocket & small apron Add extra if you want trim on the pocket. Ruffles: If self-making ruffles, you’ll need additional yardage and extra time. Trims (Pre-Made Recommended) For Small Apron Ruffle: 1¼ yards Rick rack or braid: 1¼ yards For Large Apron Ruffle: 2¾ yards Rick rack or braid: 2¾ yards Kit Fee is $5 cash to Sally day of class: Use of the pattern during class.

Classes and Space Rentals For both classes and space rentals, the following refund policy applies based on the timing of your cancellation request: Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled date: Full refund (100%) Cancellations made 3 to 5 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled date: Class Credit Cancellations made day-of will have no refund Please note that cancellations must be made in writing via email to jaimee@sewcalcraftsudio.com to be eligible for a refund.
