With Christmas fast approaching, I felt it in spirit to say; Thanks for reading. So lets rewind a bit, and take a look at our last, wonderfully festive, week here at SewCal!

Needle Felted Mouse

Last week, students started the first of two classes in Kathy Davis's Needle Felted Mouse class. Students got to model and begin creating their own Needle Felted Mouse, customizing it with their own choice of accessories and items! This class was fun, and I am certain students are looking forwards to picking it up again this next week.

Embroidered Holiday Cards

Last week we also had our, much anticipated, class being taught by Sue Pletl! Students created holiday cards with an embroidered twist! These cards were for family, friends or anyone in between, being a perfect gift to fit the season. Our students had a fun, relaxing time putting together these fun, and quite original, cards for their loved ones.

You’ll have access to bright, spacious classrooms with tables, chairs, cutting surfaces, and a welcoming atmosphere designed for creativity and connection. Complementary coffee and tea are always available.

Quilting with Larene

Another normal at SewCal, last week Larene taught her quilting class, students got to work with a veteran and socialize. This class featured both novice and experience quilters, all of whom got to work on their own projects or even start new ones in class! It was all around a fun time, and if you would be interested, Larene hosts quilting classes frequently at the studio.

Spun Cotton Snowmen

This week we also got to host the Spun Cotton Snowmen, a class hosted by Alex Ito. These lovely little festive characters had a lot of variety between them, and we are certain that they were just as fun to make as they are cute to look.
